At CTCS, we believe every student deserves an education that meets them where they are. We see learning differences as part of how God made each child. If your student needs extra support in reading, language, or academics, we're here to help.
Getting support is a wise stewardship of your child’s education
Many students benefit from additional support at some point. Whether it's early reading intervention, dyslexia remediation, or accommodations for content mastery, these services are available at CTCS.

How it Works
1. Initial Consultation
Teachers and learning support staff will meet with you and your child to determine whether a formal evaluation makes sense.
2. Request Testing
If we move forward, we’ll submit a request to the district for evaluation. They have 45 days to complete testing at no cost to you.
If you’d prefer not to wait, you’re welcome to pursue private testing at your expense.
3. Review Results
Once testing is complete, we’ll meet again to review the findings and discuss the most appropriate next steps for your student’s future.

Contact our learning support team or talk to your child's teacher. We'll schedule an initial consultation to discuss your concerns and determine next steps together.
Testing through the local school district is free. The district is required by law to complete testing within 45 days of your request. However, if you'd prefer faster results, you can pursue private testing through a child psychologist at your own expense, and we'll work with those results.
Our Learning Lab serves students with diagnosed learning needs. This ensures we can reserve our limited spots for students who truly need specialized support and give each one the attention they deserve.
Unfortunately, space in the Learning Lab is limited, and enrollment is based on availability. If we're at capacity, we'll discuss alternative support options or place your student on a waitlist.
Yes. While testing through the school district is free, there is an associated annual fee for CTCS Learning Lab services. We'll confirm the current cost with you before your student enrolls.
From initial consultation to entry into the program typically takes 2–3 months, depending on the school district's testing timeline. If you pursue private testing, it can move faster.
